Ink. Ritual. Story.
WHY I DO THIS WORK
Because tattoos are stories.
Because stories are survival.
Because our bodies are archives.
Because Black creativity is lineage.
Because identity is wealth.
Because speaking truth is ritual.
Because our narratives deserve preservation, protection & celebration.
Hey Imani I been in my processing mode for a few days.
I still trying find the words for my experiences ... I appreciate you showing up as yourself always. One sentiment I got from you — I'm always on brand.
Being on brand for me is so natural because I incorporate who I am into my brand, so there is no need to be off brand.
My brand is me. That joint is so powerful when your brand is your superpower and authentic self.
Love ya. Keep illuminating the world.
